Power Shutdown

There will be a Complete Shutdown of the Electricity at The Kahala Beach between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to approx. 12:00 p.m. Tues., Jan. 6th. The shut-down is required for maintenance.

As a reminder, the elevators will not be functioning; please notify your contractors or guests accordingly. Electrical devices such as computers, televisions etc.
should be unplugged at this time to protect the equipment from potential power surges.

Contact the office (Jenny- 732-5233/C/391-1780) if you have special needs or concerns. Security (739-6085) is always available and more than happy to assist you in any
way they can.

Backflow Repair/Water Shutdown

The backflow prevention assembly device will be shut-off for repairs between 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

This will require a water shutdown of the entire complex. Please make sure your faucets are in the “off” position before leaving your unit.

DO NOT schedule any plumbing work at this time; the water may be turned back on in a matter of minutes pending on the needed repairs.

2024 Honolulu Marathon

Attention Residents

Sunday, Dec. 8th



Due to the marathon the intersection of Kealaolu St. and Kahala Ave. will not be accessible to any vehicles from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The police will be monitoring the intersection allowing only emergency vehicles.



Kealaolu Avenue from Waialae Avenue to Kahala Avenue from about 5:30 AM until the area is clear. Local Traffic may be permitted – only by direction of officers – at Aukai Avenue. Entry and exit by Aukai only – ALL OTHER roadways will be closed and vehicular traffic will be turned around.



The Kahala Beach Condos, Kahala Hotel and Resort, and Waialae Country Club traffic will be permitted via Aukai Avenue and Pueo Street when safe to do so, approximately 11:30 am.



Please direct all marathon-related inquiries to the Honolulu Marathon Office, except those concerning residents of Japan who must contact the Japan office.



Some bus routes will be canceled and/or detoured. Bus riders may call TheBUS at 808-848-5555 or visit the Oahu Transit Services website for details.
