Pool and Exercise Room Restrictions have been Discontinued

February 22, 2022

Attention Residents,

The time has come to discontinuation of our pool and exercise room restrictions. These measures were put in place were to avoid the spread of Covid. Then the continuation happened as a result of the suddenly high numbers of illness and the increase of hospitalizations in our community. Now with the virus continuing to decline, it is time to return to our pre-pandemic days and open our amenities without restrictions.

This requires everyone to be responsible for themselves, keeping social distancing and wearing masks where and when they feel vulnerable.

We can no longer mandate any restrictions as we will have no Pool Attendant to monitor for Covid vaccinations or social distancing. We realize this opening will not be optimal for everyone. Those residents who felt “safe” with the individual reservations and an attendant to monitor will be disappointed while others will be happy the restrictions have been lifted.

We will be discontinuing the TKB Reservations and taking the Policy off from our website starting on March 1, 2022.

As prevention of any illness is always the best policy, please continue to be mindful and to avoid using the pool, library, and exercise room if you are feeling ill. Wash your hands and wipe down the exercise equipment before and after your use.

Mahalo nui for all of your support around these changes over the past two years.
